LET'S GO.
My son, Elijah, always shouts “Let’s Go!” whenever something potentially exciting is happening. As a new year and new season begins, I sense big things coming. This past Sunday, I shared a message called “Revival Training” where I unpacked the verse 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV):
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

God is challenging us with an IF – THEN promise. The Bible is full of these types of “conditional” promises from God. If we do “this”, then God will do “this”. In my 35 years of being a follower of Jesus I have concluded one thing for sure, God always keeps his promise. The key to this verse is the conditional “if”.
I think we all agree that we want God to do something extraordinary in our family, our church, and our region. The “if” is the part that should concern you personally. God is challenging us personally to do four things: Humble ourselves , pray, seek his face, and turn from our selfish ways.
If we do this, then God will do the extraordinary things we desire and believe for.
While this report celebrates an incredible year for Venture Church, I continue to look ahead, expectant that as we obey our call, we will see things we have never seen before. This Vision Sunday (January 30), I teach on the Macedonian Call, because I believe 2 Chronicles 7:14 is OUR Macedonian Call. And church, we must obey.
This year I want to challenge you with three things:
