You hear me say these often, “Jesus is the hope of the world, the Gospel changes lives, and the church, through all of its imperfections, is the organization God has chosen to get this message out.” I was wondering the other day though, how many of us really believe this?

Do you really believe that Jesus IS the answer? Do you really believe that the Gospel WILL transform you and those around you? Do you really believe that the Church IS a God-idea? I am convinced that if we genuinely believe these truths then they dramatically impact the way we live. I also believe that they change the way we view Venture Church.

Venture Church exists to move the mission of the Gospel forward. It amazes me that we are invited to participate in such an important mission. We are given the privilege of telling and showing our community that Jesus loves them and is their hope. This year my prayer is that each of us would seek more of God so that we can live in such a way that shows we believe in the power of Jesus, the Gospel, and the Church.

Jesus IS the hope of the world. Let’s tell everyone!
