Who WE ARE

We are a diverse community, gathered across many locations, made up of all kinds of cultures, races and socio-economic backgrounds. But we are united in what counts: We are a family of believers who rally around the mission of Jesus Christ, are devoted to authentic community, and leading lives of generosity.

WHAT WE DO

The most obvious thing we do around here is gather every weekend to worship God, participate in community, and rally for the mission of Jesus. But the truth is we’ve got stuff going on all week long. There are programs at Venture for kids, youth, young adults, recovery, and just about every kind of person who is looking for a place to belong. If you need anything when you visit, our volunteers & staff are marked with lanyards.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You should expect some noise and energy. There are lots of people at Venture, so our campuses have a “buzz” about them. You should expect normal people. There is no dress code so come as you are. You should expect us to be friendly. It’s just part of our culture. You should expect fun, secure spaces for your children, as well as well-trained and prepared staff. Expect to meet God here. If you are looking for answers, we believe Venture Church is a great place to find them in Jesus.

MEET OUR PASTORS

Pastor Brandon and Pastor Di Beals started Venture Church 20 years ago, moving their 3 kids from California to plant in Mill Creek, Washington. 50 courageous people helped plant the church with them, meeting at first in an office space. Fast forward 20 years and Venture Mill Creek meets in a building that was made possible by the generous people of Venture Church. Venture has also expanded to 8 campuses in Washington and Idaho, including an online campus and Espanol campus attached to the Mill Creek location. Pastors Brandon and Di have one mission, that Venture Church embodies; MAKE JESUS FAMOUS!

FAQ

What are your services like?
Our services are about an hour long. They start with a time of worship followed by a message. Worship is roughly 20 minutes and you are encouraged to participate in it however you feel comfortable. There are words on the screens for every song and people to pray over you on either side of the stage. Our messages are about 30 minutes long and Biblically centered, encouraging yet challenging.
Where do I park?
Venture has two main lots: one in the front and one in the back of the building. Please note that these lots often fill up quickly (especially during the second service). To accommodate this, we offer a shuttle service during all 3 services to transport you from our overflow parking area. The overflow parking is conveniently located down the road at Mill Creek Elementary. The shuttle will ensure you get to the church smoothly and on time.
What can I expect on my first visit?
When you arrive, you will receive a friendly welcome! Our staff and volunteers, easily identifiable by their yellow lanyards, will greet you warmly and help guide you through your visit. They will ensure you get a complimentary coffee from our cafe. We encourage you to visit our guest stops in the center of our lobby. Here, you can pick up a free gift from us.
What do you offer for kids?
At Venture Church, we have an amazing kids ministry designed to provide a fun and enriching experience for children of all ages. During all three of our Sunday morning services, we have classrooms tailored to every age group, including nursery, 2s, 3s, 4s, and the City (our Elementary space). Our kid's spaces are safe and secure led by experienced and trained volunteers and staff. In these spaces, kids can participate in engaging playtime, songs of worship, various Bible-centered games, and Bible story messages. The messages are age-level appropriate; crafted to help kids learn important lessons from the scriptures in a way they can understand and enjoy.
Do you offer anything for middle/high schoolers?
On Sunday mornings, any student in grades 6-12 can attend YTH Essentials during the 10 AM Service (after worship).
YTH Essentials provides an insightful exploration of Scripture, where we delve into teachings and engage in meaningful discussions to strengthen the foundations of faith. Additionally, it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with peers and form a great community of young believers.

In addition, our youth services take place weekly on Wednesday Nights at 7pm!
Do you offer translation services in Spanish?
Yes, we offer Venture en Espanol translation services during our 11:30 service. You can receive a pair of headphones from the guest stop in the lobby and wear them into service.
Where do I go if I have a question?
If you have a question, please visit the info booth. It is located in the corner of the church lobby.
